They speak...
In the garden of the prophet
Divine madness...
The order of the cosmic immoral
For what is humanity
If not forlorn
And crawling to my hands
When the moment sings

Kap Bambino

Not Metal

Track: Save
Artist: Kap Bambino
Album: Zero Life Night Vision
Genre: Electro Punk/Electronic/Noise
Sounds Like: Crystal Castles, You Love Her Coz She's Dead, Heartsrevolution

--> Album Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?jznzhzxyjie

I like this band. They're good for parties (as in, going to a corner and listening to them because you're disappointed in the amount everyone is drinking compared to you) when I'm on too many drugs for a lot of metal.

Monarch!

Track: Somewhere Below the Devil is Laughing
Artist: Monarch!
Album: 666
Genre: Drone-Doom Metal
Sounds Like: Corrupted, Burning Witch, Whitehorse

Beastly French drone. They were supposed to play here last weekend, but were nowhere to be found. I ended up drinking a lot anyway, but I'm still pretty angry I didn't get to see them. I have a feeling it might have rivaled the Wolves in the Throne Room in terms of concert epicness.

Dead Kennedys

Track: Moral Majority
Artist: Dead Kennedys
Album: In God We Trust Inc. (EP)
Genre: Hardcore Punk
Sounds Like: Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Black Flag

This is probably my favourite Dead Kennedys song, which is weird because this EP doesn't sound like anything else they've ever done. I love this style of punk. If you are aware of any other artists that achieve a similar sound, please inform me. I can't have heard everything.

Let it be known that I fucking adore Dead Kennedys' lyrics.

There's actually a relatively funny story about what started me listening to [the] Dead Kennedys so much again. I forget exactly how it came up, but during class my english teacher (who is also my philosophy and world religions teacher) was heard to exclaim "GIVE ME CONVENIENCE OR GIVE ME DEATH" (the title of another DK album, stupid) which prompted our realization that we were the only ones familiar with [the] Dead Kennedys in the entire school at that point. Undoubtedly, we then proceeded to ridicule the shit out of our underlings. Dr. H. is the smartest person I have ever met. He obtained his degree at Stanford, taught at Harvard, and specializes in political philosophy in the field of ethics. He rocks out to 'kill the poor'. Erryday.
